 Waleska Narvaez, LCSW - Waleska earned her Master’s degree in social work from Fordham University School of Social Work. Waleska provides individual and group therapy in English and Spanish. Her varied clinical experience includes working in Intensive Outpatient treatment with adults who have been diagnosed with both mental health and substance use disorders, as well as members of the LGBTQ community. Waleska has provided in home treatment with families affected by Intimate Partner Violence and has been employed by several reputable mental health agencies prior to developing her own private practice. 

 “I believe healing is a collaborative effort between a client and his or her clinician. To be most effective, a clinician must provide sincere empathy without judgement. As a Hispanic woman from New York City, I am attuned to the importance of the multicultural implications within therapy. I assist my clients in developing clear, attainable treatment goals, Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues.  I draw from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each situation. I am dedicated to helping people overcome depression, anxiety, addictions to alcohol and drugs, and other stresses that affect all of us at some time in our lives.”
